Ingredients:
For the dumplings: 150 gr flour, 2 spoons butter, 4 eggs, salt, pepper.
For the sauce, meat:
* 1 kg veal
* 1 spoon paprika
* 2 spoons lard (or oil)
* 3 onions
* 1 spoon flour
* salt, pepper
* 2 bellpeppers
* 1 spoon tomatoe paste(salsa)
Preparation: The dumplings: Boil one mug water with salt, butter. Add flour, mix well. Leave the dough to get cold then mix it well with eggs, pepper. Use a spoon to form the dumplings, boil them 20 minutes in boiling salty water.
The dish: Clean and chop the veal, onions, bellpeppers. Place the meat in a sauce pan and fry it for 5 minutes. Add the onions, bellpeppers and fry a little until soften. Pour over the tomato salsa mixed with flour. Mix a bit, add 2 mugs of water, salt and let it boil for 60 minutes. Add the boiled dumplings, boil together with meat for 5 minutes. Serve hot and wash it down with white wine. This dish, as the Gulash, is also a food cooked by the Hungarian minority in Romania.
