Description: Iezer Mountains impose themselves through massiveness and altitude on the southern slopes and join the Fagaras Mountains toward north. They appear in the shape of a horseshoe with rocky high ridges, exceeding in some places 2.300 - 2.400 m altitude, large glacial cirques either covered by alpine meadows or dark forests.

Location: They are part of the Southern Carpathians and borders with Fagaras Mountains in north, in east with Piatra Craiului Mountains, in west with Ghitu Mountains, and in south with Campulung Depression.

Highlights: Varful Rosu - Red Peak 2.469 m; Varful Papusa - Doll Peak 2.391 m; Spintecatura Papusii - Doll's Cut; Pestera Ursilor - Bears' Cave; Lacul Iezer - Iezer glacial Lake; Lacul Rausor - Rausor Lake.

Price: starts with 180 USD/person for 6 days (+ one day in Bucharest) - includes: pick up from airport or railway station, transportation with IC and/or Regional trains, accommodation for one night in a hotel in Bucharest and in chalets or tents during the expedition, traveling support provided by two guides. If you choose transportation with micro bus the price stars with 290 USD/person. These prices are calculated for a group of 7 persons. The group can have maximum 15 members.
