Dobosh Cake

Ingredients:

* 10 eggs
* 200 g confectioner's sugar
* 120 g fine flour
* grated peel and juice from 1 lemon
* butter

Filling: 6 eggs, 200 g sugar, 200 g butter, 6 tablespoons grated chocolate, 4 tablespoons water

Excellent pie

This is a typical Romanian pie and the filling vary according to the taste and area: cheese, meat, mushrooms etc.

Dough: 6 eggs, sufficient flour to mix with eggs until obtain a good spreading paste. Spread a layer and let it dry out a bit then cut squares of 7-8 cm.

* fried chopped mushrooms with fried onions, garlic, 1 eggs or

Dough: 250 g flour, 2 eggs, 10 g yeast, 100 g iced-sugar, 75 g sugar, 125 ml milk, salt, 70 g butter, 1 spoon rum.


Filling:
150 g sweet cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 150 g salty cottage cheese, 50 g sugar, sugared-vanilla, orange and lemon peeling.

Biscuit cake

Ingredients:

* 3 eggs
* 1 cup confectioner's sugar
* 250 g butter
* 300 g biscuits
* 50 g cacao or grated chocolate
* 1/4 cup rum
* 300 g whipped cream

Preparation:

Cream the butter with the sugar, adding the eggs one at a time and the rum, then the cacao or chocolate. Place broken biscuits (little pieces) into the resulting cream. Mix well. Place the mixture on a round platter, using a knife to pat it in place. Refrigerate. Before serving, cover with whipped cream.

Baclava

Originally an Arabic desert, this delicios sweet belongs now to Romanians.

This desert is originally an Arabic sweet and was brought to Romania by Turks.

Dough: 1 kg flour, 1 small glass white wine, 1 spoon butter

Mix these ingredients with luke warm water until you obtain a paste and let it rest.

Filling: 2 spoons melted butter, 1/2 kg pounded walnuts or almonds,250 gr sugar.
