Turnip salad

Very easy and delicious

Ingredients:

* 3 turnips
* vinegar
* salt
* 2 spoons oil

Preparation:

Wash and peel the turnips. Cut them in fine slices. Pour over a sauce made out of vinegar, salt, oil. Serve with steaks.

Tuna with pasta salad

Simple, healthy, delicious

Ingredients:

* 1 tuna can
* 2 tablespoons mayonaise
* pasta (of any kind, including spaghetti broken into small pieces)
* sweet corn
* pickled cucumbers
* lemon juice
* salt, pepper to taste

Preparation:

Boil the pastas, rinse them with cold water and let them cool down. Mix the tuna with the pastas, add the chopped pickled cucumbers and the sweet corn. Pour the mayonaise on top and toss everything well. Add salt and (white) pepper to taste. Serve with wite wine.

Tuna with lettuce salad

Extremely simple, low fat, low cholesterol and absolutely fabulous

Ingredients:

* 1 can tuna
* 2 tomatoes
* 2 cucumbers
* 5 leaves lettuce
* 2 tablespoons mayonaise
* salt, pepper
* lemon juice
* (optional hard boiled eggs)

Preparation:

Wash and cut into cubes the tomatoes and cucumbers. Slice the lettuce. Mix them together. Add the smashed tuna (or tuna flakes), mayonaise and the hard boiled egg. Toss everything. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add lemon juice.

Thyme and onions salad

Sourish and refreshing

Ingredients:

* 1 sprig fresh green thyme
* 1 small onion
* 1 lemon or 2 tablespoons of vinegar
* salt
* pepper
* olive oil

Preparation:

Wash and gently chop the thyme. Peel, slice and keep the onion in cold water for 10 minutes. Mix the thyme with the onions and pour over a dressing made out of 2 tablespoons of olive oil, one lemon, salt, pepper to taste. Excellent to accompany grilled meat.

Sweet corn, cheese salad

Excellent and very filling

Ingredients:

* one can (250 gr) sweet corn
* 2 tomatoes
* 2 cucumbers
* 100 g feta cheese
* lemon juice
* 2 spoons olive oil

Preparation:

Wash and cut into cubes the tomatoes, cucumbers. Mix with corn, olive oil, lemon juice to taste. Add on top the cubed cheese. You can also add some soy buds.

Potatoes and pickles salad

Sweet potatoes, sour pickles...just yummy

Ingredients:

* 6 large potatoes, cooked in jackets, peeled and sliced into thin circles
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1/4 cup olive oil
* 1/2 cup vinegar (or lemon juice)
* 1 spoon paprika (hot or sweet)
* 2 spoons minced parsley
* 1 large red onion sliced in thin circles
* 2 hard cooked eggs cut in round circles
* 1 spoon paprika
* 4 pickled green tomatoes or pickled cucumbers

Preparation:

Pasta, cheese and pineapple salad

Very light, very easy to prepare and eat

Ingredients:

* 1 can pineapple in own juice
* 200 g feta cheese
* 1/2 half pasta
* 1 can sweet corn

Preparation:

Boil, rinse and drain the pasta. Cube the feta, pineapple and mix with pasta and corn. Optional you can add a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil.

Mint, tomatoes salad

Very light and delicious

Ingredients:

* 1 sprig fresh, green mint
* 2 plump tomatoes
* 2 cucumbers
* olive oil
* 2 cloves garlic
* salt
* 1 lemon for juice

Preparation:

Wash, clean and cube the vegetables. Gently tear the mint leaves. If you cut them with a knife they might become black. Some people leave the mint leaves entire. Make a dressing out of oil, lemon juice, squashed garlic, salt and pour over the salad.

Matarie Salad

Although not a Romanian salad, but its great and used

Ingredients:

* 2 plump juicy but firm tomatoes
* 1 big onion
* salt
* 1/2 teaspoon sweet black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon hot black pepper
* olive oil
* 1 lemon

Preparation:

Mango, mushrooms salad

Exotic and delicious

Ingredients:

* 400 g mushrooms
* 400 g mango slices
* 1 banana
* 1 tablespoon grounded almonds
* 2 spoons lemon zest
* 3 spoon sun flower oil
* 4 spoon horse-radish
* half spoon curry
* salt, pepper to taste

Preparation:

Lettuce, Radish salad

Excellent, sourish, exquisite and extremely tasty

Ingredients:

* 1 lettuce head
* one cucumber
* 4 radishes
* 1 tablespoon capers
* garlic
* salt
* vinegar
* olive oil

Preparation:

Wash well the lettuce, radish, cucumber. Cut the vegetables into small pieces. Sprinkle the capers. For the dressing, squash the garlic with a bit of salt, poor 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 table spoons of olive oil. Toss everything well. Serve it with meats, it helps digestion.

Green salad

Very good in summer but not only

Ingredients:

* 3 cucumbers (or one long and big)
* parsley, dill, mint (or rocca leaves)
* 2 green bell peppers
* vinegar
* olive oil
* salt, white pepper

Preparation:

Make a dressing from the oil, salt, pepper, vinegar. Wash and slice the cucumbers and bell peppers. Finely chop the dill, parsley, mint. Mix them all and pour over the dressing.

Eggplants salad

Light, delicious, exquisite

Ingredients:

* 1 kg eggplants
* 1 big onion (eventually red onion)
* 1 spoon apple vinegar
* 1 glass oil
* salt, pepper
* 2 tomatoes (for ornament)

Preparation:

Dandelion salad

Very light and nutritious

Ingredients:

* dandelion leaves
* 2 spoons vinegar
* salt
* pepper
* paprika
* dill
* oil (any type: sunflower, corn, olive)

Preparation:

Prepare a dressing from the vinegar, salt, pepper, paprika, oil, dill. Wash and chop the dandelion leaves and pour over the dressing.

Cheese and cumin salad

Very good.

Ingredients:

* 250 sheep cheese,
* 100 g butter,
* 1 teaspoon cumin (ground very fine),
* 1 teaspoon paprika, salt,
* radishes

Preparation:

Sieve or grind the cheese. Mix with butter, add cumin and paprika, salt if needed. Mix well. Place on a plate and garnish with radishes cut in flower shapes. This paste can be used for sandwiches too.
