Duck on a cabbage bed

This is by far one of the most delicious dishes ever tasted.

Ingredients:

* 1 big duck
* 5 spoons goose lard
* some butter
* salt, pepper, paprika
* 1 small glass fruity brandy
* some fresh dill
* thyme
* 2 glasses wine
* 1 spoon honey
* 1 sweet cabbage

Preparation:

Clean and wash the duck. Rub it with salt, sweet paprika and butter and leave it in the fridge for an hour. Fry it in butter and lard. Pour the wine, brandy, honey, thyme and cover. Place it in the oven. Check on it from time to time and generously splash it with the wine-brandy sauce. When the meat is ready, add around the finely chopped cabbage. Rub the duck with more butter and sour-cream and put it back in the oven. When ready sprinkle chopped dill.

Serve it hot with Cabernet Sauvignon.
